KUCHING : Sarawak Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Chief, ACP Dennis Leong aims to end illegal 4D and online gaming in the state.
Leong took over the post from Datuk Dev Kumar who also tried to get rid of the crime in the state.
On Thursday night, Leong ordered raids to be conducted in Kota Samarahan and Miri.
In the raids which started at midnight and ended in the early morning, 10 people aged between 17 and 51 were arrested
The raids covered illegal 4D and online gambing. The total amount netted during the raid was RM2,401. Also seized were ten mobile phones and
stationery. The arrestees will be charged under the Common Gaming House Act.
