KUCHING: A total of 1,000 packs of bubur lambuk were distributed to residents of Taman Sukma here following the Asar prayer on Friday (March 6) at Masjid Ikhwanul Islam as part of the ‘Tautan Kasih Raya Kumpulan Senari Synergy’ programme.
The initiative was organised by Senari Synergy Group as part of its Ramadan outreach under the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at supporting local communities during the holy month.
Senari Synergy Group’s Managing Director, Datuk Jefri Ahmad Tambi, said the programme reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, particularly during Ramadan and in preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
“Programmes such as this embody the spirit of compassion, generosity, and togetherness. Ramadan is a time for reflection and sharing our blessings.
“Through initiatives like this, we hope to strengthen community ties and bring joy to families as they prepare for Aidilfitri,” he said.
The programme also included the distribution of pre-loved clothing to the members of the local community.
“The clothing items were donated by staff of Senari Synergy Group as part of an initiative that promotes sustainability while providing practical assistance to families in need.
“Through this initiative, usable items are given a second life while ensuring they reach individuals and families who can benefit from them,” he said.
In addition to this programme, Senari Synergy is scheduled to host an upcoming iftar session with participants of the Permata Synergy programme next week.
Permata Synergy is an internal welfare initiative dedicated to supporting underprivileged children through structured welfare and educational assistance.
