MIRI: A total 1,008 people were vaccinated in the second day for the second dose of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NCIP) on Tuesday (May 18) at two vaccination centres (PPVs) in Miri.
According to minister in-charge of Miri division Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) Datuk Lee Kim Shin, out of that figure, 720 individuals received their vaccines (Pfizer and Sinovac) at PPV Eastwood, while the remaining at PPV of Miri Hospital.
Accompanied by chairman of the Miri Division Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) and acting Resident of Miri division Abdul Aziz Mohamad Yusuf, Lee today visited two PPVs, namely at Eastwood and Miri Hospital.
“The vaccination process was running smoothly,” he said.
The state Transport Minister also reminded the public in this division to register immediately so that they would not be left out in the inoculation programme.
During his visit to two PPVs, the Senadin assemblyman said he received positive feedbacks from those inoculated with the vaccines.
