SIMANGGANG: A total RM124,000 minor rural project (MRP) grants were presented to various organisations and associations in Simanggang.
The MRP cheques were presented by Assistant Minister of Community Wellbeing Datuk Francis Harden Hollis to 12 organisations at the Simangang Community Service Centre on Tuesday (Oct 13).
Among the recipients were Hakka Association Engkilili; the village security and development committees (JKKKs) in Langkang Ulu Engkilili, Menalang B, Taman Siang Sri Aman, Nyakai Atas; Women’s Bureau of Rumah Imau Langkang Ulu; Sahabat Ikhtiar Entrepreneur Club Sri Aman Branch (KUSISA); Neigbourhood Watch Commitee (KRT); Sri Aman Division Sepak Takraw Association; Parent and Teacher Association (PTA) of SMK Sri Aman; PTA of SK St Lawrence, Sabu; and MDSA Recreation and Welfare Club.
At the same time, the Simanggang assemblyman also distributed 25 Kenyalang Gold Cards (KGCs) to representatives of the recipients from Taman Siang, Sri Aman.
