KUCHING: A fire which happened in Kpg Hilir Bintawan near here at 9pm on Wednesday destroyed two houses and left 13 people homeless.
The fire started in one of the two houses occupied by two families before it spread to the second house.
Firemen rushed to the scene to prevent the fire from spreading to other houses in the area.
The fire victims are currently staying with friends and relatives nearby.
The fire was completely put out around midnight.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
