KUCHING: A total of 146 individuals were conferred state awards during an investiture ceremony at the Dewan Besar, Astana Negeri today.

The ceremony was officiated by the Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
Leading the list of honourees were seven recipients of the Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (PPC), including Sapiah Daud, Anielia Siam, Nur Alina Abdullah @ Colliner Gihe, and Unus Tambi.
Five individuals were awarded the Pegawai Bintang Sarawak (PBS), namely Professor Dr Ramlah Zainudin, Kushairi Abang, Dr Peter Morin Michael Paong, and Zaidell Hussaini.
Meanwhile, 15 recipients received the Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang (PBK), among them Datin Siti Ramah Shariff, Biyati Putit, Abang Zainuddin Abang Turkey, Alex Liau, and Associate Professor Dr Samsur Mohamad.
The Pingat Perkhidmatan Bakti (PPB) was presented to 18 recipients, including Navy Captain Muhammad Haziq Abdullah, Paschal Dagang, Polly Ateau, and Tajul Ariff Abdullah Halim Kamil.
Seventeen individuals received the Ahli Bintang Sarawak (ABS), such as Ling Hua Wee, Loh Lin Kwang, Machau Layus, Mohamad Akram Mohamed Karim, and Mona Kulat.
Fifteen others were awarded the Ahli Bintang Kenyalang (ABK), including Darin Nor Aishah Abdul Rashid, Fatimah Abdullah @ Martha Agung, Nyalong Manggi, and Stephenson Changai Gindau.
Thirty-nine recipients were awarded the Pingat Perkhidmatan Terpuji (PPT), among them Sub-Inspector Silang Gelanyang, Sergeant Major Shamsudin Osman, Warrant Officer I (Air) Jackson Joseph, Warrant Officer I (Air) Muhammad Soleh Sulaiman Steven Abdullah, and Tutty Ramuni Othman.
Another 29 individuals received the Bentara Bintang Sarawak (BBS), including Abas Kassim, Adrian Zuras, Yong Yaw Yuen, Bida Padan and Sharanjit Kaur.
Also present was the Governor’s wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
Wan Junaidi conveyed his highest appreciation and congratulations to all recipients for their dedication, integrity and commitment that have directly and significantly contributed to the development and progress of Sarawak.
He also expressed hope that all awardees would continue to serve the people with excellence, uphold noble values, and lead by example in their respective communities.
