KAPIT: In conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration, enforcement officers from the Road and Transport Department office here conducted ‘Ops Motorcycle’ at the junction of Taman Siew Gin/Jalan Bletih here yesterday afternoon.
During the two-hour operation from 4 pm to 6 pm, 100 motorcycles were checked with 16 summonses issued for various offences committed.
“Among the offences were driving with expired licence and expired road tax,” said an RTD Kapit chief enforcement officer, Desmond Paul.
