MUKAH: 200 primary six pupils, form three students, accompanying teachers school counsellors and representatives from Parent- Teacher’ Associations (PTA) of 14 schools in the district attended a drug abuse education and prevention programme at Menara Pehin Setia Raja here yesterday.
Jointly organised by Mukah District Pemadam and Mukah District Education Office, the programme started with a registration of the participants at 7.30am was The programme facilitors were representatives from Mukah District Police Headquarters, National Anti Drug Agency (AADK Mukah), Prison Sibu and Mukah Health Department.
Mukah Pemadam Deput y Chairwoman Nolin Ak Gendang who represented Mukah District Of f icer and Mukah Dist r ict Pemadam Chairman Shafrie Saili was also present at closing ceremony officiated by Balingian State Assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo.
