SIBU: About 200 poly pipes at Jalan Ding Lik Kong here caught fire yesterday afternoon.
Firemen from the Sungai Merah station led by Eddy Kilat rushed to the scene at about 4.21pm after receiving a distress call at 4.20pm.
Also present at the scene were members of the Civil Defence Force here. Firemen used water from a nearby stream to put out the fire. No one was injured in the fire which was extinguished at about 6.50pm.
