KUCHING: The prestigious 2025 Liga Setia Raja (LSRM) MUFA returns to the spotlight, with the tournament officially kicking off on Aug 23
Chairman of 2025 LSRM, Abdul Rahman Haji Saibi, said the final list of participating teams has yet to be confirmed.
“So far, 14 teams have registered, but the final deadline for entries is Aug 15,” he told Arena Suara Sarawak.
“Our target is 20 teams for this edition. The confirmed list will be finalised once the registration closes,” he added.
Abdul Rahman, who also serves as deputy president of the Mukah Division Football Association (MUFA), revealed that a total cash prize pool of RM22,000 awaits the top four teams.
The champion will take home RM10,000 in cash, along with the challenge trophy, a permanent trophy and medals.
The runner-up will receive RM6,000, a trophy and medals, while third place will be awarded RM4,000, a trophy and medals. The fourth-placed team will walk away with RM2,000.
The tournament’s official venues will include Mukah Stadium, Padang Mesra MDDM, and Padang KPSU.
2025 LSRM is organised by MUFA in collaboration with the Mukah Parliamentary Service Centre (P213).
