SIBU: The Kampung Bahru Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) together with the Nangka State Legislative Assembly (DUN) JKKK will be organising the 2025 Sibu Open Seven-A-Side Football Competition at the Sibu Prison Field, Jalan Awang Ramli Amit here on Sept 13 and 14.
Organising chairman Abdul Hajis Abdullah said the competition is held in conjunction with Malaysia Day, an in collaboration with LEA Sports Centre (LSC), is limited to 32 teams only
“The registration fee is RM350 for each team,” he told reporters today (Aug 2).
According to Hajis, the champion will take home a Puma voucher worth RM1,500, while the runner-up will receive a RM1,000 Puma voucher. Both winners will also receive group trophy and medals.
“The joint third place will each receive a Puma voucher worth RM500, along with a trophy and medals as well,” he added.
Entry forms are available at the LSC, Wisma Sanyan. The closing date for entries is Aug 31.
All teams participating in the competition will receive 10 Starsport jerseys.
“Each team will also have the opportunity to get a special discount of 15 per cent for Adidas, Nike and Puma brand football shoes while 25 per cent for Slazenger brand,” he said.
