According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) report, Bukit Begunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang said development, especially in rural areas, would always take priority.
“For this, the Tuai Rumah (village headman) should also play their role in ensuring the development of their respective longhouses.”
Mong was officiating the electricity supply and Ngiling Tikai ceremonies at Rh Senabong Kubau last Sunday (June 26).
At the same ceremony, he also allocated Rural Transformation Project funding of RM100,000 to repair Jalan Kubau.
