LUNDU: About 271 students from 16 schools in Tanjong Datu constituency received aid through the Back to School programme.
According to Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, the programme here is the fourth programme held by Santubong Parliamentary constituency.
“Hopefully this programme can help ease the burden of parents who are less able to provide school supplies for their children.
“InsyaAllah, with the aid given, our children will succeed one day,” she said.
She said this when officiating at the programme at Auditorium Hall, SALCRA Bajo Training Centre here today.
For the record, the said programme was in collaboration with Yayasan Kebajikan Negara.
The students here were given aid such as school bags, shoes, stationeries, and others.
