BINTULU: About 3,000 participants took part in the Malaysia Day Run 2025 held at the Dewan Suarah Bintulu compound this morning (Sept 16).
The run was flagged off by Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom, who chairs the state-level celebration.
Also present were his wife Datin Sri Loretta Sawot, State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and his wife Datin Amar Baduyah Bujang.
Other attendees included Deputy Ministers Datuk Len Talif Salleh, Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu, and Datuk Martin Ben, alongside senior government officers and assemblymen.
Participants warmed up with an aerobic session before the six-kilometre run, one of the key events for the state-level Malaysia Day celebration.
The mass participation reflected unity and joy, adding to the significance of Malaysia Day for the Bintulu community.
