SARATOK: A total of 32 members of the Saratok District Council were officially sworn in for their new term, spanning from April 2025 to March 2028, during a ceremony held at Dewan Sri Krian yesterday (April 21).
The swearing-in ceremony was officiated by Datuk Michael Tiang Ming Tee, the Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government, and was attended by key figures including Krian assemblyman Friday Belik, Kalaka assemblyman Mohamad Duri, Saratok District Officer Muhamad Dino Amit, and others.
Of the 32 members, 16 are from Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), eight from the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP), five from Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), and three from the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP).
Among them, 28 members have been reappointed, while four new faces will be joining the council for this term.
