KUCHING: About 38 recipients from four different continents were awarded the World Innovation, Technology, and Services Alliances (WITSA) Global Innovation and Tech Excellence Awards in the 27th World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT) 2023.
WITSA chairman Dr. Sean Seah said that the winners were among the 148 submissions they received.
“The uniqueness of the award lies in its grassroots approach. Nominations are made by those who understand the pulse of the tech industry, our global WITSA tech industry member associations.
“The awards given are a testament to our collective belief that technology, when used correctly, can uplift humanity, foster economic growth, drive social inclusivity, and propel environmental sustainability,” Seah said during the award’s press conference at the Borneo Convention Centre here today.
For the record, the WITSA Global Innovation and Tech Excellence Awards is one of WITSA’s catalytic global platforms that began in the year 2000 at the World Congress on Information Technology (IT) in Taipei, Taiwan.
As the leading recognised international voice of the global tech industry, WITSA has utilised its unprecedented reach into the digital industries of 80 member countries and economies to honour the most deserving candidates from around the world.
