KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has recorded a total of 385 flood victims including 91 families today (Jan 13).
The districts which were hit by floods are Kuching, Serian and Miri.
In Kuching, four evacuation centres have been set up, namely Dewan Rekreasi Bimajaya, which holds 75 victims including 15 families; Balai Raya Taman Desa Wira (35 victims including 16 families); Dewan Serbaguna Taman Malihah (187 victims including 42 families); and Shophouse Lot Batu Kawa (60 victims including 11 families).
Meanwhile in Serian, Dewan Kampung Betong Kenawit has a total of 21 victims including six families, whereas Balai Raya Kampung Batu 1 in Miri has seven victims including a family.
