KUCHING: A reflection of happiness can be seen in the children’s eyes of Rumah Amal Nur Murni in Batu Kawah here when it came to donations of Hari Raya needs in conjunction with the launch of a programme called “Suburkan Hartamu”.
Ariva Hospitality Resident Manager Clement Mixsin said that they were grateful for being involved in implementing such meaningful programmes for the children during Ramadan this year.
“These donations and gifts are not only from us, but also from other caring society who sent the gifts to our donation counter, hotel lobby, and in short, this is the result of the collaboration of everyone involved regardless of the background to help those in need.
“With this help we hope these children can celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri happily,” he said.
He added that the contribution was a corporate social responsibility (CSR) of Ariva Gateway Hotel & Apartment to help those in need and poor students during the month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, Rumah Amal manager, Syakirah Husain said that they were thankful to Ariva Gateway Hotel & Apartments for their contributions to the children.
“We are grateful to the management of Ariva Gateway Hotel & Apartment for being aware of the charity for these children.
“I hope this contribution will provide comfort to the children at the Rumah Amal Nur Murni to celebrate the upcoming Hari Raya,” she said.
She also hoped that other non-governmental organisations (NGOs), corporations and other individuals would come forward to lend a hand to the less fortunate.
A total of 40 children attended the presentation ceremony organised by Ariva Gateway & Apartment donation ceremony and the donation was distributed by the management team of the hotel.
