KUCHING: A total of 42 awards will be up for grabs at the 23rd Asian Television Awards (ATA) to be held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from Jan 11 to 13 next year.
The event would be a historic one being the first one ever hosted in Malaysia.
It will bring in prominent artists as nominees and/or presenters.
Legendary former MTV Asia VJs May Wan and Choy Wan together with Adrian Jalaludin, Wallace Ang and Mark Zambrano will also be here as the hosts.
ATA aims at recognising excellence in programming, production and performance.
It draws hundreds of entries each year from a wide range of broadcasters, including free-to-air TV stations, pay-tv platforms, digital streaming services as well as many independent production houses in Asia.
The judges will comprise an expert panel of 50 individuals from across the region. They were hand-picked based on their expertise and tremendous experience in both the local and international entertainment scene.
