KUCHING: A total of 4,522 delegates from 82 branches attended the dinner held in conjunction with the 16th Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Triennial General Meeting (TGM).
The event, which took place at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Saturday (Feb 15), demonstrated the strong commitment of PBB members toward the party’s direction and future.
The Premier and PBB president Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, attended the event alongside key leadership figures, including the Party Election Committee chairman, Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah, as well as PBB’s two deputy presidents, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.

The event was further enlivened by a choir performance from the Sarawak Arts Council, local artist performances, and a lucky draw.
Besides serving as a platform to strengthen relationships, the assembly also plays a crucial role in determining the future leadership of PBB, with the election results for the Supreme Council set to be announced on Sunday before the closing session.
The 16th PBB Triennial General Meeting (TGM) is taking place over three days, from Feb 14 to 16, with its main agenda focused on strengthening the party’s direction in facing current political challenges.
