MUKAH: About 50 Polikteknik Mukah (PMU) staff took part in a cleaning exercise at the college’s Surau Ibadu Ar-Rahman here on Tuesday (Dec 8).

Dubbed as the gotong-royong perdana, it involved the lecturers, supporting staff and other staff led by PMU’s deputy director (Academic) Mohd Sani Said.

Mohd Sani said it was organised in preparation for the assessment of the public sector conducive ecosystem (EKSA).

“It is hoped that the exercise would help strengthen unity and enhance understanding between the management, lecturers, supporting staff and other staff members,” he said.

He added it was also aimed at maintaining cleanliness of the surau so that it would always look neat and tidy.

The gotong-royng perdana was organised by EKSA committee Nona zone and PMU Islamic Centre.
