KUCHING: Around 900 members of the Infinite Qi Gong Association of Malaysia gathered at the Kuching Waterfront today (Aug 25) to celebrate the association’s 2025 Annual Carnival, which also marked its 10th anniversary.
The colourful event was graced by Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) Mayor Datuk Hilmy Othman, who attended as the guest of honour and extended his congratulations to the association for its achievements over the past decade.
The carnival not only brought together members from across the country but also welcomed international participants from Singapore, Australia and Taiwan, reflecting the association’s expanding global network and the growing recognition of the art of Qi Gong it promotes.
The lively celebration featured Qi Gong demonstrations, group exercise sessions and community-based activities, which further enhanced the festive atmosphere at the Kuching Waterfront.
DBKU reiterated its commitment to ensuring that all communities, regardless of race or religion, are given equal opportunities to participate in social activities and benefit from the inclusive development and facilities provided in the city.
