BALINGIAN: 96 pupils from 12 primary schools in Balingian State Constituency received assistance from Sarawak Foundation (SF) recently.
Meant for buying school uniforms and other related items, the RM200 cash vouchers were presented by Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Haji Arbi at an event held at SK Parish here.
Also present at the function were Mukah District Officer Shafrie Saili, Ustaz Awang Sarkawi who represented Mukah District Education Officer Haji Bugin Haji Ragoon, a representative from SF Abdullah B Gapor Penghulu Shahdan Shahari, school headmasters and headmistresses from the schools and local community leaders.
