KUCHING: The lists of eight teams that will compete in the Kuching League-Lea Sports Centre 2017 campaign are already known.
The secretary-general of the Kuching Division Football Association (PBBK), Kamaluddin Akil said the teams were KSK Satok, Al-Maiza, Academy Axis, DBKU Borneo Island FC, Yayasan Sarawak Sanjung Etika, Muffa FC, Gedong Gators and Punggur Wibawa Bhd.
“We expect a fierce rivalry between the teams because some newcomers are participating in this competition,” Kamaluddin said.
The meeting and briefing with the team managers was held last week at a leading hotel in Kuching.
According to Kamaluddin, the official opening of the season will start on August 5.
