MIRI: A 66-year-old man was among eight people arrested by police during a raid on a house in Lambir Batu 8 here.
The 9.00pm raid was carried out by a team from Miri Narcotic Crime Investigation Department (NCID).
All the suspects, aged between 19 and 66, were taken to NCID office to undergo urine tests.
They were found positive for methamphetamine and were detained for further investigation. Police were investigating the case under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1952.
