Petronas donates sanitisation equipment

KUCHING: The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) has received sanitisation supply equipment for the purpose of disinfection from Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) Sarawak.

The handing over ceremony yesterday involved three parties at Bomba operations centre.

Petronas Sarawak general manager Zulaihi Mohd Mantali first presented the items to State Federal Secretary Mohd Shahabuddin Omar who later presented them over to State Bomba director PKPjB Khirudin Drahman.

The sanitisation equipment included 28 battery power sprayers, 30 manual hand sprays, 50 boxes of face masks, 53 boxes of rubber gloves, 130 bottles of Clorox Bleach (1L) and 160 bottles of Clorox Bleach (900ml).

The sanitisation supplies will be distributed to Bomba zone headquarters and fire and rescue stations in Kuching, Kota Samarahan and Sri Aman.
