MIRI: A youth was apprehended by members of the public for trying to steal a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle last Sunday.
The incident took place at the parking lot of Miri Hospital around 1.00pm when the owner of the 4WD spotted the suspect trying to open one of the vehicle doors.
He then sought help from members of the public to apprehend the 20-year-old before alerting the police.
The suspect was handed over to the police who then took him Miri Central Police Station for questioning.
