PANTU: Community Wellbeing Assistant Minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis paid his last respects to his late close friend Aus Enggek today.
Aus passed away at the age of 68 on Friday. He left behind a wife and six children.
He was a member of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Pantu branch and was scheduled to receive a state award — Ahli Bintang Sarawak (ABS).
However, due to the movement control order (MCO) from March 18, all government events were postponed to a later date.
Aus, from Rh Merinding, Rapak Pantu, will be buried at Rapak cemetery tomorrow (May 31).
Francis described him as cheerful, hardworking and a loyal SUPP member.
