KUCHING: A guard was found dead in the guard rest house of the Bako Water Plant at Endau Bako, near here last Saturday by a colleague of the deceased at 10.30 pm.
A colleague of the deceased had tried to enter the rest house but found it locked.
He then forced his way into the rest house but was shocked to find the deceased, Hasnan bin Merjri lying motionless in bed.
Hasnan’s remains were later taken to the morgue of Sarawak General Hospital in a police vehicle.
A post mortem was conducted on Monday afternoon which confirmed that the deceased died of a heart attack.
