KUCHING: A group of 15 Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) facilitators had to go to Sekolah Kebangsaan Nanga Lipus in Kanowit in a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) lorry after the road to the school was flooded.
According to a Bomba spokesman, as of 8.00am yesterday about 500 metres of Jalan Lipus was inundated in some two feet of flood water.
He said the flood situation in Kanowit was under control with no reports of roads inundated in other areas in the district.
