KUCHING: A person believed to be a man in his 40’s died in a wooden hut yesterday morning at about 4.30 am.
According to neighbours, the wife and two children left for their kampung during the weekend. Firemen were called to the scene when neighbours saw the wooden hut on fire. The neigbours said the family did not have electricity supply and used kerosene lamp or candles at night.
Firemen are still establishing the cause of the fire.The remains of Mr X were send to the Sarawak General Hospital morgue for a post mortem.
