MIRI: A construction worker was seriously injured after he was believed to have fallen from the first floor of a private hospital building under construction at Permyjaya here, yesterday morning.
In the incident at about 9.30am, the 30-year-old male foreigner suffered injuries on his head and broke his right leg.
It is said that prior to the incident, the victim was carrying out plastering work on the building. The victim was believed to have slipped and fell to the ground floor of the building.
His colleagues who were aware of the incident immediately assisted the victim and informed their supervisor. The victim was taken to Miri Hospital in an ambulance for treatment.
