KUCHING: A female motorcyclist, Damai binti Hazmi aged 20 from Taman Sri Harmoni, Matang passed away in the Sarawak General Hospital at about 12.15am on Sunday.
Damai was riding a motorcycle home at about 11.30pm on Saturday when the motorcycle she was riding collided with a car at Mile 6, Jalan Matang.
The impact of the collision caused her to be flung off her motorcycle a few metres away before landing unconscious on the road.
She was taken to Sarawak General Hospital. She was still comatose when she passed away. Damai was the only child in her family.
