MIRI: A Perodua Myvi car was destroyed in a fire at the Saberkas Commercial Centre here early yesterday morning.
Miri Zone Fire and Rescue Department Head, Law Poh Kiong said they received a distress call at 4.21am before nine firefighters in two vehicles were dispatched to the scene.
“When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a Perodua Myvi car was on fire and they acted swiftly by dousing the fire.
The operation concluded at 4.56am,” he said in a statement issued yesterday. “Although the car was completely destroyed there was no casualty and we are still investigating the actual cause of the fire,” he said.
