KUCHING: The counters at Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) throughout Sarawak will be back in operation by stages after phase one of the total lockdown nationwide.
It said the decision for closure of UTC throughout Sarawak is in line with the directives from Ministry of Finance on May 31.
“The closure of UTC will be effective throughout the total lockdown phase one nationwide from June 1 to 14.
“The counters at all UTC in Sarawak will operate in stages based on the need for services after the lockdown period has ended,” it said in a statement today.
Understanding and cooperation from members of the public are highly sought in the efforts to break the chain of Covid-19 virus which continues to be alarming, it added.
