KUCHING: Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) hosted the first CEO Coffee Talk in Sarawak.
In his opening speech Datuk Abang Haji Abdul Karim Tun Abang Haji Openg. thanked Senari Synergy for being the first industry player to come forward to host the inaugural Coffee Talk.
He hoped that the CEO Coffee Talk will be an avenue for captains of industry to express
their thoughts and share their company experiences by sharing the best practices.
“It is hoped that companies particularly in Sarawak will move to a greater height,” he said.
Group Managing Director of Senari Synergy, Haji Jefri Ahmad Tambi in sharing Senari’s transformation journey said, “In undertaking a transformation exercise, it is important to instil among others a sense of purpose, clarity of company direction, developing good and transparent systems and processes.”
“It is also of utmost importance for an organisation to inculcate good corporate values.
“The assimilation of uncompromising integrity, exceptional performance and mutual respect as Senari Synergy new core values has significantly changed the way we do things in Senari Synergy,” he pointed out.
He hoped that by sharing the little experience acquired by Senari Synergy during its transformation exercise can be of value to other industries. Within two years of its transformation programme, Senari Synergy has not only managed to have better brand presence, improved customers and staffs’ satisfaction but also managed to explore new business opportunities through the signing of at least six Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
In recognition of its transformation efforts, Senari Synergy has been conferred with the Gold Award during the prestigious Sarawak Chief Minister’s Industry Excellence Awards 2017 and Tuan Haji Jefri as one of the recipients of the MPC Productivity Champion Award for his exemplary leadership in promoting productivity improvement.
