KUCHING: Villaivan Jee Edmund and Mohammad Aris Jolhi won a lawn bowls title in a tournament between the staff of Sarawak Sports Corporation (PSS), Sarawak State Sports Council (MSNS), High Performance Sports Unit (USPTN), Elite and Development Centre at PSS Lawn Bowls Field, Petra Jaya, recently.
They beat Arrolflyn Elvis Slie and Lukman Hakim 15-2. Ramlee Ahmad and Ismail Maraj brushed aside Bolhassan Abang and Iskandar Hasbi to take the third spot. Deputy president of Sarawak Lawn Bowls Association (SALBA) Poniman Bejok gave away the prizes, witnessed by SALBA president Awang Mahyan Awang Mohamad. Fifty pairs took part in the three day tournament.
