KUCHING: A lawyer died after he reportedly fell unconscious at his law firm in Gala City, here on Tuesday (Sept 7).
Kuching OCPD ACP Ahsmon Bajah said the 47-year-old man was taken to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) in an ambulance before he was pronounced dead.
“The victim was confirmed dead while being treated at SGH at about 3pm,” he said on Wednesday (Sept 8).
He said the case was classified as sudden death and an autopsy on the victim was scheduled for Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a video showing paramedics carrying the victim to an ambulance had gone viral on social media.
The incident also transpired on the same day when another lawyer jumped to his death from the 22nd floor of Wisma Sanyan in Sibu.
