KUCHING: Firefighters rescued a man trapped in his vehicle following an accident along the Kuching-Serian Road today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre said the 7am incident took place when the victim’s car crashed into a ditch.
“The driver was pinned in the driver’s seat and the victim suffered a broken leg (left thigh bone),” the centre said.
He was extricated from the wreck using a scoop stretcher and handed over to paramedics at the scene for medical attention,” it added.
