KUCHING: The Kuching Ho Soon Physical Culture Club has paid a courtesy visit to the consul general of The People’s Republic of China in Kuching Xing Weiping here recently.
The club members’ visit to Xing Weiping was led by its chairman Then Shui Ted.
Purpose of the visit is to inform the Chinese Consulate General in Kuching that the club is planning to send a team of Chinese traditional martial arts to participate in the Chinese Traditional Martial Arts Championship in China next year.
According to a statement here yesterday, the club therefore hoped to get the support of the Chinese Consulate General in Kuching to achieve their goal in the participation of the championship.
Present were the club’s vice chairman Roland Teo; secretary Chai Min Soon, education officer Sim Hui Ling; and treasurer Mr Ng Shin Min.
