KUCHING: Police arrested three persons who stole from a workshop at Kampung Kuap Dayak, Samarahan on Wednesday night.
The owner reported that thieves broke into the workshop by cutting the back fence and forcing open the store room.
Missing were 6 units of welding set, 3 drill machines, 2 cutters, 1 unit magnetic drill with estimated loss to be about RM22,000.
After the police report, three persons aged 30, 36 and 41 years old were arrested in a house in Bau.
Seized from them were a car, four units of cables, three units of nozle burner, a welder cable, a gas cylinder and a unit of head welder.
They were detained for further questioning.
