New Sarawak Tribune will publish excerpts from Malaysia’s very own prolific author, James Ritchie’s book entitled Rentap: Warrior, Legend and Engima every Sunday and Wednesday, from today.
Ritchie, in collaboration with former Deputy Federal Minister, Dato Sri Edmund Langgu anak Saga, started on the project after he scaled Bukit Sadok to reach Rentap’s fortress in 2001.
In writing the story, Ritchie also visited Rentap’s hideout at Ulu Julau and Bawang Assan in Sibu where he interviewed his descendants.
This is the story of legendary hero, Rentap’s famous exploits.
