KUCHING: The Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday received a courtesy call from  Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad’s delegates at Astana Negeri in Petra Jaya here.

Chief Executive Officer of Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, Dato Mohd Redza Shah Abdul Wahid presented   Bank Muamalat’s  business tithes amounting to RM279,357.53  for Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) to Tun Taib.

The Head of State was also briefed on the planned development of the  areas around Masjid Jamek, Petra Jaya, Kuching.

Also present were  Assistant Minister of Rural Electricity, Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Chairman of the Sarawak Islamic Council, Datu Misnu Taha, Chairman of Lembaga Baitulmal dan Wakaf Sarawak, Datu Putit Matzen and General Manager of Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, Abang Mohd Shibli Abang Naili.
