SEBUYAU: A total of RM364,000 in Minor Rural Project (MRP) funds was disbursed to 35 recipients in Sebuyau recently.
The recipients comprised Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK), Parent Teacher Associations (PTA), mosque and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Sebuyau constituency.
Assemblyman Datuk Julaihi Narawi handed over the funds at Sebuyau Constituency Service Centre, Kampung Sampat Sebangan.
He urged the recipients to utilise the fund to benefit the local community.
“The fund can be used to carry out appropriate activity or welfare programmes,” he said.
Present at the event were local community leaders penghulu Merum Babu and Martasan Bujang.
