MIRI: The “I Support SDG” #BatuPertama campaign, launched in support of sustainable development goals in Borneo, has gone viral, attracting participation from all over Malaysia.

The campaign, which encourages people to take a picture of a stone and post it on social media with the hashtag #BatuPertama, has seen overwhelming success since its launch.

It aims to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable development in Borneo and encourages people to take action towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The use of stones as a symbol is particularly significant, as stones are an integral part of Borneo’s natural environment and have played a significant role in the island’s history and culture.

“The success of the campaign has been truly inspiring,” said a spokesperson for the Borneo Sustainable Development Goals Summit.

“It’s heartening to see so many people come together to show their support for sustainable development in Borneo. We believe that this campaign is just the first step towards a brighter, more sustainable future for the region.”
