SARIKEI: Tanjong Manis Member of Parliament, Ir Yusuf Abdul Wahab, recently distributed 2600 cartons of drinking water to Iban residents in his constituency in conjunction with the upcoming Gawai Dayak celebration.
The generous donation reached the communities of Sare, Kerubong and Taman Susur Jambu. Additionally, the distribution efforts extended to Meradong, Tanjung Manis Zone and the Pulau Bruit vicinity.
Ir Yusuf hoped that this contribution would bring joy and enhance the festive spirit of Gawai celebration.
In addition, he called for the preservation of unity among different ethnicities for future generations.
