Thunderstorms forecasted in parts of Sarawak, rest of region to remain dry

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather forecast for Sarawak, predicting a mixed weather pattern for the region today (July 17).

It said the state is expected to remain dry during the morning hours. However, in the afternoon, there may be isolated thunderstorms in Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu, and Miri while Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Kapit, and Limbang are likely to stay rain-free.

As the day progresses into the evening, there might be scattered showers in Miri and Limbang, while the rest of Sarawak is anticipated to stay dry.
