KUCHING: An integrated training “Latihamal Act of Aggression – Ex-Rampas Kuching International Airport” will be held on Dec 6 and 7 at the Kuching International Airport (KIA).
The two-day practice to be held from 8am to 4pm aims to train and test the preparedness of related agencies in addressing the issues of public order and violence at the airport.
Based on a press statement issued by the Kuching District Police Headquarters yesterday, the agencies involved include The Royal Malaysian Police, Malaysia Airport Berhad, Malaysian Armed Forces, Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defence Force, Ministry of Health, Welfare Department, Department of Civil Aviation and several other agencies.
Members of the public are advised not to panic when they notice the presence of emergency vehicles from the agencies involved. The traffic flow might also be affected during the training days.
