SIBU: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak Sibu will host a spectacular event of young talents and cultural diversity, the Sarawak Children’s Festival, from 9am to 5pm on Sept 2 and 3.
Highlighting this year’s edition is an exciting convergence of collaborators and participants from diverse fields.
This dynamic platform is designed to empower children, allowing them to showcase their remarkable skills and talents.
Over the course of two captivating days, the festival’s centre stage will emerge as the focal point of attention.
“The stage will serve as a canvas for young prodigies to showcase their extraordinary talents – ranging from traditional showcases such as Silat, Kompang, and Tarian Melayu, to modern expressions, including Taekwondo and Kpop Dance.
“An additional highlight will be a mesmerising magic performance by accomplished magician, Edward Lai, from Peninsular Malaysia,” according to a statement on Monday (Aug 28).
“Let’s unite with an electrifying spirit, infuse the air with unstoppable energy, and shower our rising stars with an avalanche of cheers and support! We’ll see you all at the Performance Space!” the statement added.
