KUCHING: Two women escaped unharmed in an accident after the car they drove landed in a ditch at the Ngemah Song road today (Oct 13).
According to reports by Song Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA), they received a call regarding the incident at 3.05 pm and immediately dispatched a team to the scene.
“Upon arrival at the location, the firefighters found that a vehicle was in the ditch by the roadside as reported.
“Two female victims had been extricated out of the vehicle by the public before the arrival of the team and both are safe.
“No rescue operation was carried out; the Fire and Rescue team only assisted in removing the victims’ belongings while being observed by the victims and the public.
“The operation concluded at 3.46 pm, and after ensuring the safety of the victims, the firefighters returned to the station,” it said.
